On Wednesday 8 July the European Parliament will discuss the Commission’s Action Plan on how to “fight effectively against money laundering and terrorist financing” and will vote on a resolution on Friday 10 July.
It is very worrying that on one hand Europe promotes data protection and privacy and that on the other hand they bring about a surveillance society by the anti money laundering (AML) and anti terrorist financing (CFT) legislation, read this and other posts on this blog.
