Letter by a member of U.S. congress on FATCA-damage to Accidental Americans

The French association of Accidental Americans wrote on twitter that a member of congress wrote a letter on the damage done by FATCA to decent people outside the U.S.:

 

 

This letter is only about discriminatory practices by financial institutions. Hopefully the U.S. starts to realize that their system of Citizenship Based Taxation is illegal and harming residents of other countries.
