When you are looking where anti-money laundering (AML) and anti terrorist financing (CFT) come from, a list is to be found on the site of the Council of Europe.
Under the title “AML/CFT” standards a list of sources is to be found:
- FATF
- Council of Europe
- European Union
- international conventions
Note there are no independent discussions or reviews on the quality of these sources. In a time these so-called ‘standards’ are of growing importance, the need is growing to test their quality and to stop the political marketing.
