The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) announced a joint initiative with INTERPOL regarding confiscation of ‘illicit’ assets.

An initiative regarding confiscation (‘afpakken’) in the Netherlands received a lot of criticism (1, 2).

Hopefully fundamental rights are respected by FATF and INTERPOL.
