In 2018 the Dutch government announced it had joined the ‘Joint Chiefs of Global Tax Enforcement‘, ‘J5’. This megalomaniacal Anglo-Saxon partnership (consisting of US, UK, Canada, Australia) still exists, I read at IRS. I was surprised then (blog) and am that still.

‘Global tax enforcement’… Does this mean the US is imposing its rules on the whole world?

I do not understand why little thumb the Netherlands participates in this club, knowing that the United States violates fundamental rights of citizens, e.g. via CBT / FATCA.
